Sometimes you happen upon a business that's not only good at what they do, but they're also just plain good people who know how to make your day a little better when you really need it.

That said, nice doesn't cut it if the service is lacking. Towing is a competitive business and word gets around if the work is anything less than outstanding.

Hooked-Up Towing is the best of both worlds. I've needed them twice.

One was roadside in a precarious spot and AAA had Robbie come out. He was friendly and professional, yet was all business until we and our vehicle were out of harm's way. Safety was his top priority. Also he was easy to talk to, which really calmed down my young daughter who was stressed out by the whole ordeal. And, not for nothing, our car was old and showed its age, but Robbie treated it like it was priceless. Not a scratch!

Then more recently our other car broke down in a safe place and needed a non-urgent tow to the repair shop. Who to call? The repair shop said Hooked-Up was their first choice.

So I called and was greeted by Trina, super friendly and helpful, same thing with Jessica who answered later. They responded quickly to get a tow truck heading my way. I got the feeling that these ladies and their coworker Freda are the talented multitaskers that keep it all going smoothly.

Life isn't simple though. Before Hooked-Up could get there, my car got towed away by another company because it had been parked o too long at a local institution of higher learning (just doing their job). Impounded! Getting the car to the repair shop turned out to be no simple matter. So I called Hooked-Up again to tell them what happened. This time Mark, the big boss there as I understand it, answered.

Upon hearing my predicament, Mark bent over backwards to work behind the scenes and help me get the impound situation resolved and the car released to him so he could get it over the repair shop per the original plan. He didn't have to do any of that, but he wouldn't have it any other way.

So yeah, I'm grateful and the least I can do is to let others know what great people Mark has at Hooked-Up, and that he sets a great example himself.

One last thought. Someday anyone in my family may break down on the side of the highway late at night, raining and so on. For all kinds of reasons I'll be glad that Hooked-Up will be the one to go and get them.

This morning I was stuck in the mud after pulling over for emergency vehicles. This young man stopped to help me after I been sitting on the side of the road for an hour and not to mention 4 cops pass not a single one stop to help. This young man prove to me that there are still good people out in this ugly world after helping me and wouldn’t let me pay him. I wish I knew their names but I appreciate that man and his buddy that he called so much

I'm glad to have Thomas as my go to when it comes to any towing services, he had helped out multiple times and I'm very thankful for that.

Can't say enough how thankful I am to Hooked Up Towing and Danny the tow truck driver. Our boat trailer blew a bearing on I-40 (leaving it un-movable) and they were the only towing company in the Wilmington area willing to help us out. Putting a 20' boat and trailer with only one wheel wasn't easy, but Danny did a great job. He was able to get it to the repair shop safely and unloaded it without any problems. I highly recommend these guys.

Great service . Always Quick and efficient when needed. had a recent accident and they were there within minutes to help me and my daughter. Great employees all the way around. I have had to deal with them several times for different issues and they've always been very pleasant and courteous to deal with.

These guys rock. I needed a 23 foot boat hauled from hampstead to Wilmington at 7 at night, and Josh made some calls for me and got me hooked up. Thanks again

I was stuck in a parking lot, leaving my psychiatrist's office no less, when suddenly - while reversing out of the parking space - it stopped. SHORTLY thereafter to my delight i saw the tow truck approaching. I had been in a very anxious and agitated state. Then that all changed. From the moment Bradley stepped out of his tow truck I was showered with reassurance and, to my surprise, he was also able to 'turn my frown upside down'. He was understanding, fast-paced in completing his task, and was SOOOOOOO funny! Had me laughing the entire drive back home! So, 5 stars for the work, and 5 stars for the temporary companionship that lifted my spirits on what could have been a very bad day. Thank you so much Bradley!

Alright so my car had a flat and Bradley Black picked us up! He's funny and a really awesome guy. He's an amazing guy and an awesome driver and very personal. He's easy to talk to and fun to be around! This guy also has the snappiest comebacks and its fabulous I love this guy! And awesome company!

This company is wonderful and will be the only one i use from here on out. Jeremy was very professional went above and beyond to ensure that we were completely satisfied. Took his time to access our situation and was very courteous. He made light of the dilemma and kept everyone laughing. Couldn't have asked for a better technician!!
